The Law Journal Television Team
Each member of our team brings a unique skill and talent set. But wait--every company says that. Here's what you need to know about us: we're balanced across the Myers-Briggs spectrum, we all have a competitive streak, 99% of us are film buffs, 50% of us do our best pre- and post- production work in the wee hours of the morning and we all like to eat. Brad Pitt in the movie "Ocean's Eleven?" He'd fit right in.

Christopher W. Naughton, Esq.
President, Founder, Host & Executive Producer
A former New Jersey prosecutor and trial attorney, Christopher has over twenty years in television and radio broadcasting legal and other issues. Passionate about the Constitution and television, he founded Law Journal in the tri-state Philadelphia area in 1990. His mission has been to empower consumers with their legal rights and give the legal profession voice. As Executive Producer, he is the visionary and final word on content and quality, not only for broadcast programming, but the company's video and creative projects.
As host of the weekly, prime-time legal talk/feature television program The American Law Journal, Christopher moderates panels and interviews guests with a keen eye and ear for issues important to lawyers and laypeople alike. At home in the studio or on location, Christopher is an unflappable host with razor-sharp intellect and a remarkable internal index of legal knowledge in myriad practice areas. Currently writing a book on the The Synchronicities of America, Christopher is a sought-after legal and entertainment commentator for national broadcast and print media. Don't let his being a Yankee fan dissuade you- he'll support any team that's playing the Red Sox.
Valerie A. Jones, M.A.
Principal, LJTV Media & Creative Services & Producer
Valerie is the "Jill-of-all-trades" at Law Journal. If there's a question, she can answer it, a solution to be found, hey, it's already implemented... and-- she keeps her finger on the pulse of news and trends of all kinds, especially legal. A walking database.
She knows broadcast production. Media and online marketing. Client service. Audience relations. She's focused on providing our clients with incredible service and strategically comprehensive marketing campaigns. And, she also knows how to roll up her sleeves and manage a project as a whole-from the planning stages to launch and through to the grand finale. Put all of those talents together, you have one impressive point person.
We think maybe she was a lawyer in a prior life-- she just knows how to bring the most complicated legal concepts to viewers and online visitors.
Maybe it's from her time on the faculty at Virginia Tech in the 90's (starting the student television station there, Valerie's former Virginia Tech students are everywhere-- they've become nationally recognized stars in the news media. Maybe it was her stint as a Corporate Marketing Director in healthcare. Whatever it is, in over six years at the Law Journal companies, she's always found new ways to produce a television program, craft a message, promote clients, or strategize and run a marketing campaign. When she's not in the studio, on location or in the office in front of all three of her computers, Valerie rides her bike to the beach. We may hide her iPhone so she gets a little time off.
Andrew R. Schaeffer
Director of Production
What can we say about Andy? We have to remind him to eat lunch. Well, not every day...sometimes it's dinner. Andy is so intensively focused on his work that nothing is left to chance. Anything technical in our companies falls to Andy's management, supervision and creativity. Each week, the newest broadcast or creative project is not just a concept with Andy--it's an opportunity to grow the presentation of a message in new and remarkable ways.
There's so much more than his dedication to production, programming and client projects. His longevity with and loyalty to the Law Journal companies make him a "rare bird" in the broadcasting technical career path. When clients see Andy, they know an exemplary video product is soon to follow.
Andy holds a degree in film production from the University of Pittsburgh, but his real education has come from his extensive producing experience in the last decade, much of it with Law Journal. Before he joined our team six years ago, he was a much sought-after videographer and producer. He has traveled the country working on a variety of productions.
Equally at home behind the camera, in the edit suite, the control room and on-location production truck, Andy manages productions with precise intelligence. If it's not perfect, he's going to get it there in post-- we don't like to say this publicly, but we have seen Andy "fix it in the mix" from guests getting their words right to perfecting a guest's skin tone.
From the macro to the micro, Andy knows what it takes. He's the intrepid 007 of the Law Journal companies. Now would someone please order him a pizza and tell him to get up from his electronic toys and drink some water???
Pete Dale
Interactive Designer and All-Around Web-Ninja
Pete is our guru of web and online multimedia applications. His extensive experience designing user-engaging websites brings a rich and varied talent to the Law Journal team. His passion is pushing the web where it's not "supposed" to go, giving clients the opportunity to express their personality beyond the constraints of everyday design and functionality. From traditional to cutting edge, from boutique law firm website to extensive, 1000+ page sites, Peter brings a vital, fresh eye to interactive design. He's also adept at the management of sites with search engine optimization, hosting, bandwidth analysis or whatever the need. And responsive? There's none better.
Catherine R. Munden

Whether it's addressing a client's specific questions, or going the extra mile to fine-tune a marketing campaign that launches tomorrow. In our offices, that's Catherine. She brings a wealth of financial management experience and marketing enthusiasm to the equation. When it comes to anticipating needs and following through with solutions, clients know they can count on Catherine. Her latest accomplishment is becoming certified in online marketing strategy and operations, blending her accounting degree/data-crunching expertise with a keen eye for positioning clients beyond their competitors. Oft-heard around the office-- Catherine can figure anything out. And you'll love her infectious laugh.
Corey Hersh
Videographer/Editor
Corey is the quiet one. But there's something going on here at a very deep level. Corey is the consummate videographer and editor we've all come to count on for his creative eye and ear. You may not notice him during a shoot, but you will recognize his work when you see it. Corey works closely with Andy Schaeffer to continually push the limits of creating compelling video content. You don't have to wait to be in a pinch for Corey to be there, but if it is last-minute and you need something, Corey's your man. Maybe we'll tell you why we call him Cor-Elvis.
Our Crew
Creative, Fun and Professional
Sometimes they're called gypsies or nomads in the television industry- we call ours loyal and dependable. When members of our crew are called to shoot nationally-televised sports and performing arts but choose to be in-studio or on location with us, we know we're doing something right. They believe in our mission-- bringing the law to the everyday person, profiling the people who champion justice. Don't let their youth surprise you-- these 20- and 30-somethings are the messengers of their generation who believe in and know their rights... sometimes just by osmosis, being in the studio! Plus, they're creative and fun to work with. Next time you're around, take a peek at who's behind the camera, in the control room, lighting our set or managing the studio floor. You'll be reassured the next generation, at least these crew members, have the future of the 'medium as the message' well in hand.
Colleen Kobrick-Kuehne
Makeup Artist
Everybody wants to look their best. Colleen not only takes you there, she works with you to project your professional image on camera. While others rely on airbrushing makeup, Colleen thinks airbrushing is for car detailing and tee shirts at the beach. What she does with a brush and her specially-blended mineral makeup is better than any airbrush artist could hope for. And putting you at ease? Colleen is our green room ambassador, giving guests a warm welcome and putting nerves at ease before a pre-show/shoot.
