Linda Fullerton, President
SOC. SEC. DISABILITY COALITION
Linda Fullerton fought for a year and a half to receive her Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits. During that time her debts mounted and was on the verge of bankruptcy. After being awarded SSD benefits and retroactive pay Linda, “used [the money] to pay off debts incurred while waiting for one and a half years to get my benefits.” To help others avoid a similar situation, Linda co-founded the Social Security Disability Coalition (SSDC), a national volunteer organization that offers support to disabled people. She later testified before Congress to help in the reform of the Social Security Disability program.
